Troubleshooting Parks

Operational center for Fiberlink optical access and PK switches, preserving family and firmware boundaries.

parks://diagnostics
$ scope: Fiberlink · PK Series
$ method: read → isolate → change
$ compatibility: family + firmware
$ safety: validate first_
Compatibility rule: Public Parks CLI documentation is family-dependent. Do not assume GPON 200xx/300xx/400xx syntax applies unchanged to Fiberlink 50048 or PK switches.

Fiberlink CLI

Read-only references first; compatibility is shown per command.

ONU · GPON families

show interface gponx/x onu status

Status and optical levels for ONUs on a GPON interface.

ONU · GPON families

show gpon onu <serial> summary

Detailed ONU state, optical levels, distance, model and firmware.

Profiles · GPON families

show gpon onu <serial>

Applied IPHOST, flow, VLAN and Ethernet profiles.

Provisioning · GPON families

show gpon onu unconfigured

Find synchronized ONUs without a configured flow.

Security · GPON families

show gpon blacklist

Inspect ONUs blocked by blacklist conditions such as duplicated serial.

L2 · Fiberlink

show l2 mac-table

Inspect learned MAC addresses, VLANs and ports.

PON · GPON families

show interface gponx/x

Inspect interface state, counters, errors and transceiver context.

Optics · GPON 100xx/200xx/300xx/400xx

show interface gponx/x sfp

Inspect SFP identification, temperature and optical measurements.

Hardware · 200xx/300xx/400xx

show temperature

Inspect OLT internal temperature where supported.

Hardware · 300xx/400xx

show fan

Inspect fan module state where supported.

Config · GPON families

show running-config

Collect the active configuration; sanitize before sharing.

Troubleshooting by symptom

ONU offline / LOS

  1. Check ONU status and summary.
  2. Check blacklist for duplicated serial or previous PON binding.
  3. Inspect PON SFP and optical distribution network.
  4. Confirm model/family and firmware before any change.

ONU active without service

  1. Inspect applied flow/VLAN profiles.
  2. Check ONU MAC learning and L2 MAC table.
  3. Validate uplink and service VLAN.
  4. Compare with a working ONU on the same service.

Degraded PON

  1. Inspect PON counters and ONU population.
  2. Inspect SFP DDM and temperature.
  3. Check OLT temperature/fans when supported.
  4. Inspect feeder, splitters and ODN.

PK switch service issue

  1. Validate VLAN/QinQ and MAC learning.
  2. Validate LAG/LACP and spanning tree/ring protection.
  3. For routing/MPLS, validate underlay before service layer.
  4. Use the exact model/firmware manual for CLI syntax.

Known operational limits

SFP GPON

Parks support states a 70 °C operating limit for the SFPs supplied with its GPON OLTs; excessive temperature can cause link failures and component degradation.

OLT GPON

Parks support material states a 65 °C operating limit for GPON OLTs. Validate temperature and ventilation before attributing instability to software.

Fiberlink 50048

GPON/XGS-PON mode changes require model-specific procedure and licensing conditions; use the dedicated official procedure.
