Privacy and data protection rules

The policy is organized by topic so you can quickly identify what is processed, why it may be processed and what rights apply.

01 · SCOPE

Scope and applicable law

This policy applies to the Circuito Carioca TI website and its public features. Personal-data processing is guided by applicable Brazilian law, especially Law No. 13,709/2018 — the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

Links to third-party websites, platforms or APIs are subject to the privacy practices of their respective providers.

02 · INFORMATION

Information that may be processed

Information provided by you

When you voluntarily use a contact, account, registration, newsletter or similar feature available on the portal, the information you submit may be processed for the purpose indicated in that feature.

Technical and access information

Web servers and security infrastructure may automatically record technical information such as IP address, date and time of access, requested resource, browser or user-agent information, response status and other data necessary for operation, diagnostics and security.

03 · PURPOSE

Purposes of processing

Information may be processed to:

  • provide and maintain portal features;
  • respond to messages, requests and support contacts;
  • maintain sessions, preferences and security controls;
  • prevent abuse, fraud, attacks and unauthorized use;
  • diagnose technical errors and improve reliability;
  • comply with legal or regulatory obligations when applicable.
04 · COOKIES

Cookies, local storage and preferences

The portal may use essential cookies or equivalent browser storage to maintain sessions, security controls, consent choices and interface preferences, such as light or dark theme.

Non-essential analytics, advertising or tracking technologies should only be introduced together with the corresponding transparency and consent controls when legally required. This policy must be updated whenever their actual use changes materially.

05 · INTEGRATIONS

Online tools and external integrations

Some technical tools on Circuito Carioca TI depend on third-party data sources, DNS infrastructure, public registries or external APIs. When technically necessary, data entered in the tool — for example a public IP address, domain, ASN or other technical identifier — may be sent to the provider required to produce the requested result.

The portal should send only the information required for each query and should not expose API credentials or internal infrastructure data to visitors.

06 · PROVIDERS

Sharing and service providers

Information may be processed by infrastructure, hosting, security, e-mail or integration providers when necessary to operate the portal or fulfill a request made by the user. Such processing must be limited to the applicable purpose and legal basis.

Circuito Carioca TI does not sell personal data.

07 · RETENTION

Data retention

Personal and technical information should be retained only for the period necessary for the purpose that justified its processing, including operational, security, legal and accountability requirements. Data may be deleted, anonymized or kept when a legal retention hypothesis applies.

08 · SECURITY

Information security

The portal adopts reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to reduce unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure or destruction of information. No internet service, however, can guarantee absolute security.

09 · LGPD

Your rights under the LGPD

Subject to the conditions established by law, a data subject may request, among other rights:

  • confirmation that processing exists;
  • access to personal data;
  • correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data;
  • anonymization, blocking or deletion when legally applicable;
  • information about data sharing;
  • revocation of consent, when consent is the applicable legal basis;
  • opposition to processing in the circumstances provided by law;
  • review of decisions made solely through automated processing, when applicable.

A request may require reasonable identity verification so that information is not disclosed or changed on behalf of another person.

10 · MINORS

Children and adolescents

The portal is primarily intended for technical and informational use. If a feature specifically processes personal data from children or adolescents, the corresponding treatment must observe the additional protections required by applicable law.
